Little Luxuries: Time for Tea
East Asian tea ceremonies elevate tea making to a meditative art form, with the rituals aiming to highlight the special and beautiful moments in everyday life - which is exactly the premise of my Little Luxuries series.
I think it's important to savour the little things in life - to literally stop and smell the roses. It's these little things that add up to the big picture: fresh bed sheets, a bubble bath, clean fluffy towels. These small touches add a bit of luxury to the everyday routine and provide moments of sanity in an otherwise hectic life.

Movie Me-Time
Hebden Bridge is home to an original 1920s Picture House which is still in operation and showcases a good range of mainstream, art-house and foreign language films as well as live events.
When I saw that there was a 10.30am screening of the Marilyn Monroe classic Some Like It Hot this Thursday I thought I'd go along, however I was most disappointed when I realised I was already busy that morning (I mean, who's free to go to the cinema on a Thursday morning??).
So, inspired by Honeybourne Line's "Stay Home" series, I decided to have my own vintage movie morning at a time that suited me!

Let's Go To Bettys!
Whenever anything needs celebrating in the Forcella household, we cry "Let's Go To Bettys!"
So as it was our 7th wedding anniversary, that exactly where Mr. Forcella and I went for brunch!
